What we do / what we are planning to do:
- List-serves and other online tools offer spaces for open horizontal communication and debates among activists. Blogs and web-pages provide spaces for online publishing of urgent news, calls, media, links, guides and for the development/publishing of more systematic thematic exchanges and debates.
- We are concentrating on the production of a (maximal) quarterly magazine with specific thematic focuses which will be published as PDF and print (whenever we find financial resources). The production of these thematic magazines is integrated with maintained thematic blogs.
- In addition, reclaiming-spaces may organize publications for specific occasions or purposes (like mass news papers for large events, flyers, posters or catalogues) and other media (audio and video).
- Results of our work may be used and adopted for specific campaigning tasks and publicity work, including outreach to official mass media.
- Reclaiming spaces tries to participate in the organization and support of international meetings of activists (like urban spaces at the ESF) and other events, with a focus on a progressive improvement of targeted grassroots’ actions, political networking, knowledge sharing, improved methods and campaigning.
- Proposals for broader action, collective campaigns, policy papers, petitions, research or other types of activities may be among the results of particular projects.
